A cross-border raid left Stowmarket well beaten in their efforts to add the county cup to their Eastern Counties One league title.Stow suffered a 61-5 thumping by holders Essex side Colchester in the Suffolk Chadacre Cup final at Mill Road, home of the London One North side.
Stowmarket had seen off Sudbury and Mersea Island to reach the final but never got a look in, despite a try from Robert Burch.
