Football: Haughley bounce back but surprise defeat for Old Newton

Haughley United put Saturday's heavy home defeat behind them to record a 2-0 win at East Bergholt United this evening in the Senior Division of the SIL but Old Newton United suffered a shock 3-2 home defeat to bottom club Coplestonians.
Kwame Jones and Aaron Robinson were on target for Haughley as they made it six wins from their last seven games to continue to pull clear of relegation danger.
Aaron Shave missed a penalty for Old Newton, but Adam Rickwood netted a second spot kick, while Matt Huckins was also on target.
