Football: Dismal day all round for Stowmarket teams

Home hopes: Salvation Army captain Bryn Blower tries his luck during his team's 1-0 defeat by Benhall St Mary this afternoon.
It was a day to forget for local teams this afternoon with none of the 12 in action managing to register a win.
Indeed, only one scored more than one goal and, even then, Haughley United Reserves' brace came in a 4-2 home defeat.
Of the 12 games played, three were drawn with nine defeats and a goals ratio of 9-38.
