Football: Stowmarket Town held to draw

A 1-1 draw at Ipswich Wanderers this afternoon cost Stowmarket Town the leadership of the Ridgeons League First Division.
Man of the match James Graham set up Ross Myhill for Town's first-half goal but sloppy defending allowed Wanderers to equalise soon after.
Goalkeeper Kevin Bugg proved the Town hero, saving a stoppage time penalty.
The point was not enough to stop Stowmarket being overtaken at the top of the table by Cambridge University Press, who romped to an 8-2 victory over Downham Town. But Stow are only a point in arrears and still have a game in hand.
The gap over third-placed Diss Town was increased to four points after the Tangerines went down to a surprise 1-0 defeat at Fakenham Town.
