Football: Mission accomplished – Haughley United are safe

The great escape is complete - a 2-1 victory for Haughley United this afternoon over Coplestonians ensured Phil Fairbrother's side of their senior status in the SIL.
Aaron Robinson opened the scoring from the penalty spot and Craig Simpson blasted in the second before Coplestonians pulled one back on the stroke of half-time.

After gaining just seven points from their first 19 games and looking certainties for relegation, new boss Fairbrother has seen the team gain 25 points from their last 10 fixtures to pull off the amazing recovery.
