There's plenty of sport in the January edition of In Touch With... Stowmarket, which has been landing on door mats this week.
As well as nine reports on the two sports pages, there are also five others in the 28-page publication.
Scorpion Martial Arts Academy is offering a free month of karate or kick-boxing training for new students, while Stowmarket Table Tennis Club is linking up with Suffolk Libraries with a display and have-a-go session.
There is a report from Old Newton Sports and Social Club with details of plans for 2011, news from Mid Suffolk Gymnastics Club and a tribute to Ron Barnes, of Meadlands Recreation Club, who died recently.
The sports pages include reports from Stowmarket Tennis Club, Stowmarket Football Referees, The Ramblers Association, Stowmarket Volleyball Club, Stowmarket Cricket Club, Stowmarket Squash Club and adverts from Stowmarket Golf Club and the squash club.
A triathlon at Wattisham Flying Station is mentioned, as are dance aerobics classes at Stowmarket Middle School.
