Sporting activity has been thin on the ground in recent weeks but the Stowmarket Sport website has been thriving.Thanks to your support, in its two months of existence there has already been more than 150 reports and stories featured and in excess of 3,000 visits from across the world to this blog.
The response to this venture has been amazing and I am grateful for all the words of encouragement I have received on my travels around the area.
I knew there was a demand for an ultra-local 'hub' to cover the plethora of sporting activity in Stowmarket but I have been blown away by the volume from both the participation side and the interest from across the world in what the town has to offer.
So far, Stowmarket Sport has had visitors from almost 30 countries. The UK and USA have seen the most but there have also been visitors from throughout Europe – Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden – Eastern Europe – Croatia, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia – and much further afield, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa.Stowmarket Sport is certainly proving a global phenomenon!
Long may that continue.
