September 7, 2010 – A 3-2 win at Flempton Greyhound confirmed Meadlands A as winners of the Suffolk CPA League.
The club, which is based at the Meadlands Social Club in Needham Road, is in the running for a memorable treble.
Meadlands A face Flempton again in the semi-finals of the Suffolk Shield, while Meadlands B take on Troston Bull in the last four of the Suffolk Plate.
Individually the club continues to perform well at county level with five Meadlands players finishing in the top ten of the Suffolk SIngles Championship.
Simon Fletcher was fourth, ahead of 6 Andy Wilson, 7 Nick Carrington, 8 Daniel Cooper and 9 Tania Cowlin.
