Stow suffered Eastern Counties League One defeat for the first time this season in a windy encounter on the coast.
A winning run of five matches was brought to a close but some consolation was gained with news West Norfolk also suffered defeat.
It leaves just Cantabrigians with a 100 per cent record and Stow travel to the league leaders on November 13. Before then, Stow have the chance to get back to winning ways on Saturday when struggling Haverhill are the visitors to Chilton Fields, 2.30pm.
