Haughley United ground out a point at Framlingham Town last night to keep alive their hopes of beating the drop from the SIL Senior Division.
Haughley lost goalkeeper Arron Mayhew with half an hour to play to a finger injury and he had to be replaced by Shaun Taplin.
But it was Haughley who came closest to grabbing a winner when Jason Woods hit the bar and Callum McLuckie missed from six yards out.
Despite stretching their winless league season to 18 matches with the 0-0 draw, another point means the village team are within a winning run of moving out of the bottom two.
