He scored 21 points from his six handicap to drop to four, becoming the centre's second four-handicap golfer.
That gave him victory in Division One, just ahead of leading man Mike Thorpe, who matched his 21 points and reduced his handicap by two, to five.
David Marriott was third, reducing his handicap from nine to seven with another 21-point haul.Felicity Groom was leading lady, scoring 18 points.
In Division Two, Michael Wallis knocked an incredible five off his handciap, scoring 27 points to drop to ten.
Roy Kenney was the leading man, scoring 25 and losing four of his handicap.
Mary Hughes' 21-point haul earned her the leading lady award and shaved two shots off her handicap from 14.
Diane Richards was the Division Three winner, scoring 19 points and dropping her handicap by one to 22. Terry Davies was leading lady with 17 points but no change to her handicap.
Centre professional Duncan Burl said; "Michael Wallis waved goodbye to his 15 handicap in style and on any other day Roy Kenney would have been good enough to win by several - but he still got his handicap chopped nonetheless!
"Other excellent scores from Division Two included Paul Chalmers (22), Simone Whitehead (22), Mary Hughes (21) and David Thorndyke (20)."
