Stowmarket Town have a fine chance to bounce back to winning ways on Saturday in the First Division of the Ridgeons league.
Town have lost their last two games but travel to a struggling Long Melford side who have lost ten of their last 11.
Haughley United can put their miserable SIL Senior Division season to one side when they travel to Division Two team Bramford Road Old Boys in the Omnico Cup.
Despite failing to win any of their 16 league games (albeit with five draws, four single-goal defeats and five by two goals), Haughley have only lost once in cup competitions and that was to Ridgeons League high-fliers Whitton United.
