A home defeat to Capel Plough means it is seven games without a win in all competitions but yet again the odd goal proved decisive with Unicorn having suffered four single-goal defeats and two draws during that run.
Substitute Dean Ling was on target for Unicorn, who welcome 100 per cent league leaders Shotley Rose to Chilton Fields on Sunday, 10.15am.
