Football: New chance for Stowmarket Town to take over at top

Stowmarket Town have another chance to take over at the top of the Ridgeons League First Division table on Saturday.
While Town travel to mid-table Godmanchester Rovers, leaders Cambridge University Press face a tough trip to fourth-placed Ipswich Wanderers.
Locally, there is home action for Old Newton, Stowupland, Haughley Reserves, Salvation Army Reserves and Cedars Park.
Only slightly further afield, Salvation Army travel the short distance to Bacton.
Sunday's big game is at Chilton Fields, where Unicorn will aim to be the first team this season to take points from runaway Ipswich Sunday League leaders Shotley Rose.
Unicorn led in the reverse fixture and pushed the hosts close before going down 3-2 and the reigning champions will be hopeful of bringing their winless run to an end in style.
