Darts: Turbo-charged Talbot's is top talent

Stowmarket's Sue Talbot has been putting on some turbo-charged performances in the Suffolk Ladies Darts League.
Talbot, who plays for Stowmarket, won the season's league singles title, beating Bury's Sue Thompson in the final.
Talbot, nicknamed Turbo, won nine out of nine of her league matches, gaining an 18-3 legs difference, scoring 20 100-pluses and one 180 for an average of 18.47.
Fiona Payne finished seventh in the singles table, with an average of 15.86, and Barbara Chenery (14.77) completed a trio of Stow players in the top 12.
The three of them were also in action for Suffolk Ladies in the British Inter-Counties Championships sponsored by Rileys. 
The fifth match of the competition saw the team welcome Welsh side Montgomery & Radnor. Chenery was lady of the match in the B team's 4-2 defeat, while Talbot took the same award for the A team with a 21.18 average. Fiona Payne was also in action for the A team, averaging 16.12.
The team's next match is an away fixture in Dorset.
In the Suffolk Ladies Super League Cup, Stowmarket finished second, just a point adrift of Bury.
In the men's league. Stowmarket Arrows are currently sixth of 13 teams with 86 points from seven wins and two draws from their 17 games.
