Football: Pair in search of long-awaited wins

Two local teams face Tuesday evening action this week.
Stowmarket Town will be hoping for better weather conditions to get last week's postponed home Ridgeons League match against Team Bury at Greens Meadow played this time, 7.45pm, while Haughley United face a tough trip to Suffolk Senior Cup semi-finalists Framlingham Town in the Kingsley Healthcare Suffolk & Ipswich League, 7.45pm.
It's as you were for Stow, who need to rediscover their League Cup form to get their Ridgeons League First Division promotion hopes back on track.
They beat Team Bury 5-0 five weeks ago in the knockout competition but then Town have lost all four league games they’ve played.
With Framlingham between cup dates, Saturday's scheduled semi-final at Whitton United was postponed and they will try again this week, Haughley will be hoping their minds are elsewhere.
Despite being winless at the foot of the table, Haughley have only lost two games by more than two goals all season and were unlucky not to snatch a point from Saturday's home game with title-chasing Ipswich Athletic.
