Football: Tributes paid to Salvation Army stalwart Verz

Tributes are being paid to Salvation Army FC player Mark Versey, who died this morning.
The 38-year-old died of a suspected heart attack at his parents' home after returning from his work for Ambassadors In Sport in South Africa and London, where he was based.
'Verz' joined the club in only its second season and went on to make more than 200 appearances, scoring 26 goals.
He had roles as treasurer and reserve team manager and re-signed playing forms in December.
A Salvation Army FC spokesman said: "Mark Versey was a true gentleman. He was competitive, combative and loyal without ever being an unfair or dirty player.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle, his sister, his Mum and Dad, his nephews Nathan and Edward and brother-in-law Jonathan."
Both the clubs' teams will wear white armbands for next week's matches against Sporting 87 FC.
