Football: Ground award for Old Newton

Old Newton United groundsman Michael Brundish has picked up a prestigious award for the Kingsley Healthcare Suffolk & Ipswich League club.

Brundish has been presented with his certificate at the Suffolk County FA for coming second in the FA County Groundsman of the Year competition 2009/10.

The competition was won by Kevin Arbon of Framlingham Town, who went forward to represent Suffolk in the national stages.
