Sport: Regional award for Stowmarket school

Hot on the heels of a Sport England report that Mid Suffolk is helping boost the number of people actively involved in sport in the county, see Stowmarket Sport report here, comes news that one of the town's schools has won a regional award.
Abbot's Hall Primary School has been crowned the best in East Anglia by the BBC and Sport England for its amazing 93 per cent success rate in allowing pupils to enjoy five hours of PE and extra curricular sport each week.
According to the East Anglian Daily Times report, every one of the 177 children at the Danescourt Avenue school takes part in at least two hours of sport every week.
And twice a week the whole school, plus parents, takes part in a morning 'shake and wake' aerobics session.
