Golf: Ion's Hibbert Trophy honours

Ron Ion won the senior section's December Gren Hibbert Trophy match in one of few competitions to beat the weather at Stowmarket Golf Club.
Ion (handicap 16) scored 36 points to beat Andrew Lillistone (hc 18) by a single point. Roy Rogers (hc 14) was third on countback.
