Football: Nothing unlucky about Stowmarket Town's record win

Stowmarket Town went to the top of the Ridgeons League First Division this afternoon in record-breaking style.
Town romped to a stunning 13-0 victory at bottom-of-the-table Cornard United, with eight different players on the scoresheet.
Lee Drummond led the way, scoring three and creating four others, despite playing only the first 53 minutes.
James Graham, Marc Wake and Wayne Proctor all notched braces with the tally completed by Nathan Birch, Dan Smith, James Horsfall and Dean Tournay-Godfrey.
It is the club's record league win, beating their previous best of 11-0 set in 1962 against Biggleswade, a new league record away victory and the biggest win in the division since Downham Town beat Bury Town Reserves 15-0 16 years ago.
Stowmarket Town Reserves also hit the goal trail with 16-year-old Jordan Mayes netting a hat-trick on his debut in a 5-1 win over Whitton United at Greens Meadow.
