Football: Trio are back in action after Christmas festivities

Three local teams face festive bank holiday action if the thaw arrives in time.
Stowmarket Town start the ball rolling on Monday with a home Ridgeons League First Division meeting with Team Bury.
The game starts at Greens Meadow at 11am and the league leaders will be keen to get back into league action for the first time since their record-breaking 13-0 win at Cornard United more than two weeks earlier.
Tuesday sees two Kingsley Healthcare Suffolk & Ipswich League teams in search of glory in the Omnico Cup.
Old Newton United are at Melton St Audrys looking to repeat their opening-day 3-1 victory, rather than the recent 2-0 home defeat.
a giant-killing is in the offing at Framlingham Town where Division Five team Cedars Park are the visitors to the Senior Division club.
The Stowmarket team will travel without their management team, as reported in the Green'Un.
Framlingham are struggling in the league but have two victories over Stowmarket Town to their name in both the FA Vase and Suffolk Senior Cup.
Both games start at 1.30pm.
