With Christmas looming, local newspaper paginations shrink but there is a still a healthy number of Stowmarket area reports on eight pages of sport in today's Bury Free Press.
Stowmarket Town's record-breaking 13-0 win at Cornard gets a page lead and there is also a report on the midweek League Cup win over Histon Reserves as well as details of matches involving Haughley United, Salvation Army and Stowupland Falcons U3 Girls.
Elsewhere there is a report of Stowmarket RUFC's win over Thurston and results from local chess and darts leagues.
