The thaw did not come in time to save today's Omnico Cup ties involving Stowmarket-area teams.Cedars Park's trip to Framlingham Town and Old Newton United's match at Melton St Audrys were both called off because of frozen pitches.
No rescheduled date has been set for Cedars Park yet but Old Newton will try again next Monday.
